Windmills Craftworks was built for live music. Through the Windmills Music Foundation, we support artists, champion original music, and create opportunities for emerging talent. Squirrel Sessions is an extension of that mission.
Selected artists perform on a professionally equipped stage with dedicated music technicians, professional audio and lighting, a private green room, and a production team focused on capturing great performances.
The Squirrel Sessions is our search for original music and the people who live for it. Not the most polished, produced, or followed. The most real. Artists submit one original song, performed live in a single take, with a squirrel somewhere in the frame. Selected artists earn a live performance at Windmills, an on-stage interview, and a professionally produced episode to share with the world.

We review every eligible submission. A shortlist is selected and featured publicly for the People's Choice.
The jury chooses. No fixed number of winners — only the work we cannot stop thinking about.
